  1. One Marijuana Mama says:

I am single mother of two teens (16 & 18,) Non-hodgkin’s Lymphoma and IBS. I use cannabis in the form of liquid shatter in a vape pen. When I am literally doubled over in pain on the toilet (TMI) I use my pen and most of the time it actually stops the stomach contractions and I stop cramping. Marijuana is legal where I live, and my teens and I have very open conversations about it and they know it is an important part where my health is concerned. If they hear me in pain in the washroom they grab my vape and roll it under the door for me. That’s right, I leave it out in the open. I actually worry less about them trying weed outside our home. I know that if they have questions they will ask me. It takes away the mystery of it, making peer pressure and curiosity less likely to happen to them. They know the different effects cannabis has from watching me.

I really enjoyed this article. I like how you have listed the 10 reasons in a non-judgmental, neutral way, with just the right amount of information. I am going to get my teens to read it. I am not uncomfortable at all about them reading it, in fact, I would really like them to read it.

So thanks for writing and sharing your blog. I think it was very wonderfully written.
